Continuous Improvement is a simple but effective management philosophy and can be easily deployed to help the growing Host business. These can be simple ideas that affect our everyday lives and yet be great improvements!

Remember that i). there is always room for improvement, ii). teams work better than individuals and iii). those at the sharp end know best how to improve things.

Try the CI process out yourselves within your operating teams. What could we do better in order to increase our customer’s good experience of that Host moment? Think about things that affect costs, productivity, the environment and our customers…

We consider our ‘customers’ to be clients, counter customers, ‘Tupperware’ customers (get the packed lunch brigade to eat with us), suppliers and of course our colleagues. Wherever you are in the Host community you will have customers as defined here, and I am confident that you can also find an improvement that we can make as a company.
