Jerry Brand is known as the man who tamed the big companies with his war on inflated prices since 1989. He was named ‘Irritant of the Year’ in 1994 because he cornered the large companies, embarrassing them with the ridiculous price they were charging their client for a simple egg. At Host we follow a simple ethic – we will not inflate the fair price of the purchases we make on our client’s behalf. The difference with Host is that we have also invested in e-business tools to prove that this is the case – whilst other contract catering companies spend money so you can’t see their ‘transparent’ accounts to protect their ‘invisible’ earnings!
